I have been talking a lot about earning and saving money lately and thought I would discuss a few simple ways to save some money. Many articles talking about saving money don't give concrete methods, but instead list a few tactics such as making goals and budgeting, but here I am going to tell you how to save money on the things you are buying anyway.
1. Save money on groceries
Join a cash back app like Ibotta and Checkout 51. Either of these offer huge savings that many people just leave on the table. They even offer any brand discounts on things like bread and eggs that everybody can use. These are some great apps.
2. Join a program to save money on gasoline
If you join Shell Fuel Rewards you will save $0.05 on every gallon of gas. You should also join Plenti for Exxon Mobile although it can be a bit more of a hassle because you have to remember to check and activate the offers.
3. Check for discount gift cards, coupons and Groupons
You can save money on almost anything by buying gift cards from Raise. If you sign up using that link you will even get $5 after you finish activating your account. I have already saved more than $180 since I joined Raise in 2016, while buying things I was planning on purchasing anyway. Its also worth checking for coupons and Groupons for the things you are buying. Some grocery stores even double coupons.
4. Earn cash back on all of your online purchases
When shopping online I recommend in the least installing a browser app from either Ebates or Swagbucks. This way whenever you shop online you will earn cash back. Currently, you can earn quite a bit since plenty of sites are offering double cash back for the holidays.
5. If you eat out download the mobile app and join their rewards program
Many times just for joining a rewards program you will get something free, plus you will get access to all sorts of coupons you could be missing out on. I recently installed the Baskin-Robbins app and got a free scoop plus a bunch of coupons.
I admire this article for the well-researched content and excellent wording. I got so involved in this material that I couldn’t stop reading. I am impressed with your work and skill. Thank you so much. Offshore Web Development Australia.
